A Master’s degree in ICT or related field

Knowledge in operating systems security (windows, Linux) and managing OS level vulnerability.

Knowledge in database security practices including encryption access control and monitoring.

EXPERIENCE
|
Three (3) Years’ experience as a IT Security Officer in an organization comparable to an institution of higher learning.

EXPERIENCE

Experience in network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and network monitoring tools.

EXPERIENCE
|
High level expertise in, and detailed understanding of, a number of different functional areas across the institution.

EXPERIENCE
|
Knowledge in computer hardware and networks

OTHERS
|
Fulfil the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
